Primary Functions

Responsible for making minor mechanical repairs without site supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms and elevator problems.
  • Repair minor plumbing problems and unblock drains, repair beds and other mechanical equipment, replace light bulbs and batteries as needed.
  • Assess maintenance problems and determine when additional assistance or direction from the manager is necessary. Attend to routine heating and air condition problems throughout the Hospital.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of hospital facilities equipment.
  • Completes the installation of wall hung boards and assemble minor equipment within a timely manner.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications

A High School diploma and a minimum of one year’s job-related experience or equivalent is required.
