We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Ledger Assistant to join our finance team. This role will support the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reporting, contributing to the integrity of the organisation’s financial records. The successful candidate will assist with month-end and year-end close processes, maintain the fixed asset register, and perform balance sheet reconciliations. You will also provide analysis and commentary on reconciliations, support VAT and CIS return preparation, and assist during statutory audits.
In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of finance activities, including posting routine journal entries, coordinating invoice approval workflows, and supporting the development and implementation of financial systems. You will work closely with the accounts payable team to ensure accurate transaction processing and play a key part in meeting critical deadlines for financial reporting and compliance.
