Overview

We're currently recruiting a dedicated General Labourer to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Defence on a full‑time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• General unskilled labour tasks as requested
• General ad‑hoc cleaning tasks
• Clearance and emptying of external recycling bins
• Litter and debris removal, including car parks
• Setting up and closing partitions for conference/meeting rooms
• Moving and setting up furniture
• Transferring bulky items (e.g., televisions) for meetings
• Prep for any open days
• Cleaning car park and building entrance ways; bad‑weather clearance
• Periodic checks of cycle racks, including removal of abandoned cycles
• Cleaning outdoor signage and outdoor furniture; painting when required (yearly)
• Ground‑level cleanup of ground‑level “Goose Poo”
