An educational support organization is seeking GCSE Tutors in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role involves delivering personalized tutoring in Maths, English, or Science. GCSE Tutor – Ashton-under-Lyne (OL6 / OL7)
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable GCSE Tutors to support learners in Ashton-under-Lyne (OL6 / OL7). This is an exciting opportunity to help pupils prepare for their exams with confidence, whether they need support in Maths, English, or Science.
As a GCSE Tutor, you’ll deliver 1:1 sessions that focus on bridging knowledge gaps, developing exam techniques, and building self-belief. Many learners may have fallen behind or require additional support outside the classroom. Lessons will be held face-to-face in homes or local community venues.
Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English or Science up to GCSE level
Experience teaching or tutoring at secondary/GCSE stage
Ability to plan engaging, structured sessions around the exam syllabus
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
£25–£30 per hour, based on experience
Flexible weekday hours during school time
Weekly PAYE pay – no umbrella deductions
Ongoing CPD and consultant support
