Job Opportunity: Gas Main Layer with ELR

Location: Guernsey/Jersey

Type: Full-time

Salary: Circa 45K Base salary + approximately £500/month with overtime and standby + Company benefits.

PLEASE NOTE: Our client is looking for someone based in the UK who would be willing to relocate to Guernsey.

We are looking for a Gas Multiskilled Main Layer with ELR ( Escape, locate and Repair) to join a team to help keep the Gas Network running safely and smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, and replace gas mains and services
• Help respond to gas emergencies and assist with repairs
• Maintain and check gas equipment and systems
• Support other teams when needed
• Be on an emergency call-out rota (1 in every 4 days)

What You’ll Need

• Experience working with gas or utility networks, Gas Distribution experience.
