We’re Hiring: Gas Engineer at Progress Housing Group.

We’re now looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team on a Full Time Permanent basis.

This role offers full‑time hours (39 hours per week).

What you’ll be doing.

Carrying out day‑to‑day repairs, fault finding, and annual servicing of gas appliances. Delivering a first‑class service that keeps our customers safe and comfortable. Using your diagnostic skills to resolve issues efficiently and professionally.

Most of your work will be local, but during spring and summer, you’ll occasionally support exciting projects across the UK‑typically for a few nights at a time, around 3‑4 months of the year. When this happens, we’ll cover all accommodation and meals, so you can focus on doing what you do best.

What we’re looking for.
  • ACS accreditation, including CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, WAT1, HTR
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Significant recent experience in the gas industry, with competency in gas repairs, maintenance and servicing
  • Confident diagnostic skills and the ability to deliver excellent customer care while ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met
