Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Gas Engineer to work within social housing properties in Cannock, primarily on kitchen and bathroom projects, with some travel required to support other contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Boiler installations, isolations, gas pipe alterations, reconnecting appliances, capping off and inspections
  • Servicing, fitting parts, meter moves and fault finding
  • Gas flues for roof replacements
  • Enabling works for decarbonisation projects (extending flues and gas pipes, isolation and recommissioning)
  • Domestic gas testing and certification of all works
  • Working in both occupied and void properties
  • Managing workload independently from job tickets or handheld devices
Requirements / What we are keen to speak to you about
  • Experience in social housing and planned maintenance
  • ACS, CKR1, CCN1, CENWAT/CEN1, HTR1 & CPA1 certifications
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check
