UWE Bristol are one of the largest universities in the South West and one of the largest employers in the Bristol region.

Future Quest is a collaborative outreach programme delivering exciting activities to young people in Bristol schools and colleges. The project aims to increase participation in Higher Education by helping young people gain new skills and confidence and by increasing their understanding of Higher Education and higher skilled employment.

As a Future Quest Project co‑ordinator for Schools you will help us to realise this ambition, through the design, coordination and delivery of a portfolio of targeted and progressive activities, designed to equip potential students with knowledge of higher education and potential pathways and to support their progression, self‑awareness and self‑belief.

You will be confident and dedicated to working with young people to enthuse and inspire. You may have some specialist knowledge in an educational area or be able to bring knowledge and expertise of another area that would bring interesting and new perspectives to the work, you will also work well in a team.

You’re someone who can deliver activities as well as coordinate them. You will visit schools and colleges to deliver engaging activities, proactively plan a calendar of activities with schools and colleges, manage enquiries and shape provision to meet demand, undertake and allocate administrative tasks.

About you
  • Can develop and deliver engaging activities to young people, via online platforms and in face‑to‑face contexts.
  • Can proactively administer an activity schedule that would achieve the team’s goals.
  • Can build excellent relationships in schools and colleges.
  • Has excellent team‑working and interpersonal skills.

You will also be available to work flexibly out of hours (evenings and weekends) to support events and activities within the team, e.g. open days, taster days, student conferences, campus visits, recruitment fairs, Confirmation and Clearing etc.

This is a part‑time, fixed‑term post until 31 Jul 2026, working 15 hours per week.
