A rehabilitation services provider is seeking a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to deliver tutoring to small groups of learners in prison settings. The ideal candidate has a minimum grade 4 (C) GCSE and solid teaching experience. You will develop tailored training plans, ensure high-quality course delivery, and support learners in achieving their long-term goals. You will deliver tutoring, working with small groups of prison-based learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations.
Their Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that the advice and guidance is given when required while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality courses that engage with the learners and help them to reach their potential.

All of their services are designed in partnership with the people who they are trying to help and away from their direct work with people serving their sentences, they are working hard to change attitudes towards people who can often be tarnished unfairly following criminal convictions.
