Salary: £27,846 FTE (CC_36), Pro-rata salary for 22.5 hours £16,929.90.
Terms & Conditions: Part Time (22.5 hours/52 weeks), Teaching Contract

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate person to join our foundation learning team at Camborne, where we prioritise Brilliant Learning and provide our learners with the maximum opportunity to succeed. As a tutor, you will be responsible for delivering functional skills and GCSE English lessons in line with our Teaching and Learning Strategy, ensuring that all learners are engaged through a personalised approach that challenges and stretches their abilities.
You will develop high-quality teaching and learning resources for all modes of delivery, including ILT, and assess learners' progress regularly, offering constructive feedback to support their improvement.
Our ideal candidate will have a commitment to fostering student success in both academic and vocational areas, supporting learners' development in English and Maths.
You will be responsible for designing and planning effective schemes of work, using a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs, and assisting with course organisation and administration to ensure all learner records are up to date. Additionally, you will play a role in promoting your curriculum area, contributing to marketing efforts, and engaging in open days and evenings.
Skills & Experience
Essential requirements include a minimum Level 5 teaching qualification (DET, Cert Ed, or PGCE), and either level 4 or level 5 specialism in English or a Degree in a related subject, with level 3 English.
Experience in relevant commercial, academic, or vocational fields, along with experience of working with young people who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, is essential.
