At Axcis Education, the UK’s leading SEND specialist agency, we are working with a mainstream primary setting in Kidderminster seeking to appoint a long-term full-time SEND teaching assistant to work on a 1-to-1 basis with a Reception-age child. The student has global development delay and is working closer to that of an 18-month child and communicates using basic communication methods.
This role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday during term-time, from 08:30 to 15:30. It is originally for the minimum of the academic year but is likely to be extended beyond July 2026. You will need a minimum of 6 months experience working with young people with SEND needs and will be suitable for individuals with nursery or primary school experience.
You will need full UK right to work documentation and a full enhanced DBS certificate on the subscription service or a willingness to obtain one, which can be supported by Axcis Education if you are successful at interview with us.
