  • Following best practices around CI / CD and automated testing.

Full-Stack Python Engineer (Backend-leaning, React exposure)

EdTech - Outside IR35

I’m supporting an EdTech start‑up doing some genuinely exciting work in the learning space, and they’re looking for a Full‑Stack Python Engineer to join on a 6‑month contract.

This is a hands‑on build role, working closely with the Head of Tech and contributing directly to core product features. It’s mostly back‑end‑focused, but there will be some front‑end React work initially, so full‑stack experience is important.

What they’re looking for

A strong Python engineer (4–5 years) who’s comfortable owning back‑end services, understands micro services, and can support the front‑end when needed. Start‑up experience or the mindset to work autonomously is key.
