Full Stack Developer (UX / UI-Aware) – Hedge Fund Environment

Contract: 6 months rolling

Remote

I am currently working with a leading global hedge fund that is expanding its engineering capability and looking to hire a Full Stack Developer with strong product thinking and working knowledge of UX / UI design.

This role sits within a high-performance engineering team building internal applications used across the business. While this is not a pure UI role, the team is looking for someone who can own application flows, screen layouts, and user journeys, in addition to core full‑stack development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build full‑stack applications used in a fast‑paced hedge fund environment
• Contribute to UX / UI decisions, including user flows, screen layouts, and overall usability
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and end users
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, well‑designed technical solutions
• Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability

Key Requirements

• Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Reasonable familiarity with UX / UI principles (user flows, layouts, usability)
• Ability to design and think through how users interact with an application
• Comfortable working without a dedicated UI team and taking ownership of design decisions when needed
• Experience in high‑performance, engineering‑driven environments is a plus
