Job description

• Actively contribute production-ready code and help shape the system's architecture within a service-oriented environment.
• Consider business goals alongside technical and operational requirements to support continued growth.
• Support and promote strong engineering standards across all development teams.
• Work closely with colleagues in multiple regions, coordinating efforts across different time zones.
• Anticipate obstacles, highlight potential risks and communicate them clearly to project leadership.
• Identify areas where processes can be improved and introduce scalable, innovative solutions.
• Strong background in software engineering, including hands-on experience building and deploying Back End systems.
• Practical experience working in a microservice-based environment.
• A history of delivering frequent changes and updates to production.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful API services.
• Ability to design data models and work effectively with PostgreSQL.
• Additional beneficial experience: Recent experience working with Java.
• Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms like GCP.
• Experience developing Front End applications using React.
• Background in the financial industry, particularly in banking environments.
