A healthcare technology company in Greater London is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their team. The role involves delivering features for VIDA, a platform enhancing musculoskeletal health. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience and be comfortable across the software stack. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams and making architectural decisions to ensure reliable systems. Competitive salary of £55-70k and benefits including 25 days of holiday, learning leave, and a dog-friendly workspace.
We’re looking for a full stack developer who’s ready to roll up their sleeves. As an early full stack hire, you’ll have the chance to bring ideas, best practice, and real ownership - helping shape how our product is built, scaled, and maintained across the stack.
Our product is VIDA, a web platform used by thousands of employees to improve musculoskeletal health and reduce pain. It combines clinical insight, movement science, and technology to assess risk, reduce pain, and help people move better at work and beyond.
Join as one of the core engineers to work across frontend and backend systems that power VIDA: from assessments and programmes to data pipelines, APIs, and internal tools. You’ll be responsible for shipping reliable, well-designed features end-to-end, from concept through to production, with success measured through product adoption, system reliability, developer velocity, and customer outcomes.
Shipping features that tackle a wide range of customer challenges.
Making key architectural and tooling decisions to keep systems reliable, scalable, and efficient.
Collaborating with clinical and UX teams to design experiments and implement complex clinical logic and algorithms.
Helping foster a culture of engineering excellence through mentoring, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Software builder with 3+ years’ experience – you’re passionate about your craft and comfortable working across the stack (leaning frontend or backend is fine). Experience with a strongly typed backend + JS framework (bonus points for .NET + Vue, but not essential).
Proven track record of building applications with real complexity, whether in a commercial role, open-source, or personal projects that showcase your commitment to engineering.
Self-starter with autonomy – you make sensible decisions independently, take ownership, and aren’t afraid to figure things out without waiting for hand-holding.
Product-minded and user-focused – you work closely with designers and clinical experts, always thinking about usability, impact, and experience.
Cloud infrastructure experience:We use AWS
Experience with building: B2B, SaaS platforms
Obsessed with learning:you’re curious, self-motivated, and have a track record of figuring things out fast as well as staying on top of industry news and trends.
Driven by impact:you’re excited to help build something meaningful from the ground up.
An AI data analysis tool that transforms natural language into executable queries for detailed team-wide pain insights.
A webcam-based dynamic posture assessment using pose estimation to analyse movement during functional exercises.
An event-driven notification system spanning Slack, Teams, and email to deliver personalised hourly stretch reminders.
£55-70k, depending on experience.
2 days of learning leave
Monthly team dinners and annual team retreat
Meaningful share options, so that you own a part of the company
Flexible use of Public Holidays
Cycle-to-work scheme
A shiny MacBook Pro or whatever you need to do your best work
25 days holiday (excl. bank holidays)
Dog friendly workspace (Next to Old Street Station)
