The ideal candidate will have experience in digital forensics, good communication skills, and a relevant degree. Digital Forensic Services are vital to helping our officers to combat crime, protect the vulnerable, enable safer communities, and make a difference that really matters. Thames Valley Police is transforming our Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU) to deliver proportionate, timely services that support effective crime investigation for TVP and external organisations. As part of this transformation, there is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Portfolio of FIU as 1 x Frontline Digital Technician, based at Slough Police Station. Reporting to a Digital Forensic Frontline Team Leader and Operational Supervisor, you will ensure that the early examination of exhibits occurs to determine the best course of action in any case using a comprehensive triage process to identify those exhibits suitable for further analysis. This can involve material or images of a distressing nature.
