We are recruiting a Steward to join our team working at Officers Mess, Baker Barracks, Thorney Island, Emsworth, Hants, PO10 8DH. You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of a quality food and bar service within the Officers Mess.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Serving meals, beverages, and bar snack items to customers.
• Cash handling and till operation.
• General housekeeping, including bar cleaning, glass washing and ensuring the communal areas are kept tidy and neat.
• Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method.
• Report to line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.
• Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Similar work experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
