Overview

Friendly Personal Assistant/Companion needed to support a 66‑year‑old retired teacher living in a cosy bungalow with her much‑loved cat, Sam. She has a slow degenerative neurological condition and uses a wheelchair when out and about, but is able to get around her home with a walker. She enjoys reading, watching TV and playing board games, and would love someone who’s happy to spend time with her, chat and join in with board games. She is a smoker but only smokes when on her own.

Employment Details
  • Location: Hassocks
  • Hours: 4 per week over two days, ideally Friday mornings and one other.
  • Pay: £12.21 per hour if employed; self‑employed rates to state.
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle required.
  • Employment status: Employed or self‑employed.
Duties
  • Transportation support including wheelchair and car loading.
  • Companionship, chat and participation in board games and tea.
  • Leisure activities such as walks, library, shopping.
  • Occasional household tasks such as washing.
  • Assist with bathroom accessibility as required.
