DUTIES
  • Deliver a timetable of teaching, learning and assessment as agreed with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
  • Plan qualification delivery in collaboration with team members, ensuring compliance with all external requirements.
  • Provide support systems to facilitate positive learner retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Complete all E‑registers in a timely manner to required standards.
  • Monitor learner attendance and performance, reporting to management.
  • Address learner requirements quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure a positive learner experience and timely achievement through teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Complete individual learning plans and progress reviews with smart targets appropriate to each learner.
  • Submit portfolios timely for interim and summative verification, working with the IV to ensure quality improvement.
  • Undertake learning and development activities as required, maintaining a record of all CPD.
  • Contribute to learner disciplinary action requirements where appropriate.
  • Attend standardisation and team meetings at designated centres to develop team and individual performance.
  • Promote safe working practices and safeguard learners in line with current Health and Safety legislation and LCG Safeguarding and Prevent policies.
  • Conduct your role in line with company values and expected behaviours.
  • Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company.
  • Comply with Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety policies, remaining vigilant to potential concerns and risks.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Provide learners, customers and colleagues with support, advice and guidance as part of your everyday role.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
  • Hold an Assessing Qualification.
  • Relevant occupational experience in the sector you are applying for.
  • Level 3 and above sector qualifications.
  • Access and use of your own resources.
