Freelance Content‑Led Creative Director

Contract: ~7 weeks starting Monday, 11 August

Rate: To £450/day

Hybrid: 2-3 days in the Central London office.

A leading creative team is seeking a content‑led Creative Director for a 7‑week contract starting mid‑August. The role involves leading the creative development of a fast‑turnaround, multi‑deliverable campaign for a global consumer technology client.

Some of the groundwork will be in place before the start date, and the project will build on the foundations of previous campaign activity. While conceptual thinking is required, the emphasis is on a detail‑oriented, hands‑on approach. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing the complexities of multiple deliverables and getting into the finer points of production, rather than focusing solely on high‑level ideation.

This is not a brief for large‑scale, award‑driven campaigns. Instead, it requires the development of a small number of creative routes, working closely with the team to bring them to life—largely through the creative use of stock imagery and footage rather than new shoots.

Candidate Profile
  • A conceptual creative with a strong copywriting background preferred.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates proven campaign work of similar scale and scope.
  • Experience in consumer advertising, with video and YouTube campaign experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous work with global consumer technology brands is advantageous.
  • Global campaign experience highly desirable.
