The role involves conducting detailed lifecycle reprofiling surveys and managing asset data using specialized software. Candidates should have proven experience in building surveying, especially within healthcare or PFI environments, and be able to start immediately for a duration of approximately 1 month. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with onsite teams.

Freelance Building Surveyor – Healthcare Site (West Midlands)

Start: ASAP | Duration: Approx. 1 month | Type: Freelance / Contract

Location: West Midlands (Healthcare facility)

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed PFI lifecycle reprofiling surveys across a live healthcare environment
• Capture asset data using a tablet and dedicated asset capture software
• Ensure accurate, consistent condition assessments and data quality
• Liaise with onsite teams to coordinate access and minimise disruption
• Work independently while meeting programme deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience in building surveying, ideally within healthcare or PFI environments
• Strong understanding of lifecycle surveying and asset condition reporting
• Competent using digital tools, tablets, and asset management software
• Basic DBS required; Enhanced DBS desirable
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the full programme duration
• Professionalism and excellent communication skills

Duration: 1 month of survey work
