Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Lecturer to join the Art & Design team to provide maternity cover from 1st March 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and assess teaching for BTEC Art and Design Level 1 through 3.
  • Provide subject tutor support to student groups and offer individual tuition.
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement.
  • Work flexible hours, including evening and weekend sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Recent industry‑related experience and a related undergraduate qualification.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics.
  • A teaching qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Good administration and interpersonal skills are essential.
Contract & Working Hours

Fixed‑term contract until 24th October 2026, or earlier/later if required by the period of maternity cover.

7.4 hours per week / 52 weeks per year.
