Overview

FRA Carpenter — Location: Camden. Hours: 37 hours per week. Salary: £25 P/H. Company van provided.

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) Carpenter to join our team in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fire door experience and a solid understanding of fire safety compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Fitting new fire doors and upgrading existing ones
• Repairing door frames to meet fire safety standards
• Installing fire-rated plasterboard and electrical enclosures
• Carrying out general fire stopping works
• Ensuring all work complies with British Standards and safety regulations
• Maintaining accurate records and performing minor admin duties
• Representing the company professionally and maintaining excellent customer relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire door installation and fire safety carpentry
• Strong knowledge of fire door components and fire stopping techniques
• Good understanding of British Standards relating to fire safety
• Full UK Driving Licence (van will be provided)
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently with a proactive and innovative approach
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Desirable

• Experience in quality control or quality management processes
• Familiarity with reporting systems and maintaining compliance documentation
