As a key member of the Ralph Lauren FP&A team, the Finance Manager is responsible for end-to-end financial support of EMEA store-related initiatives - this includes new store openings, renovations, refits, lease renewals, relocations, and temporary locations. This role also includes ownership of the Capital forecasting process and management of key Property related P&L lines, including Depreciation, Rent, Rates, and Service Charges.

Responsibilities
  • Investment appraisals and modelling of pro-forma P&Ls for store projects. This includes scenario modelling, aligning with key stakeholders on inputs and challenging where necessary
  • Delivery of post-investment reviews to evaluate project performance against original business cases, identify key performance drivers and develop actionable recommendations for future improvements
  • Ownership of the budgeting and forecasts (primarily in relation to anticipated projects) for:
    • Capital
    • Rent
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment across functions
  • Supporting with the preparation and presentation of decks for projects reviews with EMEA senior management/other decision making forums.
  • Analysis & other reporting / schedules to support Capital investment & delivery of spend in line with Company polices and on Budget
  • Serve as a mentor to junior finance team members, offering guidance, support, and coverage as needed
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager / broader FPA team with general financial analysis and other ad hoc strategic or operational projects as required
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral, written, and formal) with the ability to develop effective partnerships with financial and non-financial partners across varying levels of management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment; detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Self-motivated/pro-active, follow through with responsibilities and be accountable for results
  • Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to work with large volume of data
