Job Title: FP&A Analyst

Department: Finance

Interfaces with: Finance team, Operations, People Team

Working Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £35k - £40k, depending on experience

Role Overview

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, commercial performance analysis and decision‑making across the business. Working closely with finance, sales, operations and senior management, you'll help translate data into actionable insight that drives growth, efficiency and profitability.

This is a hands‑on role, in a fast‑paced environment where you'll be a key contributor to financial performance, continuous improvement, and future growth.

Study support for part‑qualified accountants including payments towards accreditation, study leave and help with course materials.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring plans are realistic, clear, and aligned.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting with meaningful commentary.
  • Support financial models that aid decision‑making and scenario planning.
  • Track performance against KPIs and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Review overseas P&L statements for accuracy and clarity.
  • Work with budget holders to explain variances, challenge assumptions and identify actions.
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to support and challenge performance.
  • Help teams understand their numbers and make confident, informed decisions.
  • Create engaging reports and dashboards that bring the numbers to life.
  • Spot trends, tell stories and make recommendations that drive action.
  • Assist with ESG‑related metrics and identify opportunities for positive impact.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes, systems and collaboration.
  • Get involved in projects that help us grow and evolve.
Skills & Experience
You’ll be great at this if you…
  • Are a part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a post‑grad taking early steps in your finance career.
  • Have experience in a fast‑paced, commercially focused environment.
  • Are confident working with large datasets and turning them into clear, insightful analysis.
  • Have supported P&L reviews and partnered with budget holders.
  • Bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Have intermediate/advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, adapting financial language for any audience.
  • Work collaboratively and are genuinely interested in how the business operates.
  • Have an interest in ESG, sustainability, and the role finance plays in positive change.
It’d be a bonus if you…
  • Have experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering.
  • Have worked with overseas subsidiaries or multiple currencies.
  • Have a background in travel, tourism or tour operations.
  • Have exposure to ESG reporting or sustainability‑focused finance work.
