About the Role
  • Lead and manage the Fostering & Permanence Team to provide a high-quality, comprehensive, and effective service.
  • Prepare for inspections and ensure the team maintains high standards of practice.
  • Influence developments in social work practice and provide professional leadership.
  • Facilitate collaboration within a multi-agency context.
  • Act as a specialist advisor on Fostering and Permanence for Looked After Children.
  • Contribute to the development of relevant policy and services.
  • Utilise and translate statutory, community, voluntary, and independent resources to enhance best practice.
  • Deliver high service standards across the borough, in line with the "+Camden Model of Social Work'+".
  • Work under outstanding leadership and management within a professionally fertile environment.
  • Engage with children and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
