A local authority in Gloucester is seeking a motivated Fostering Social Worker to join the Kinship Assessment Team. This permanent role offers a salary between £39,152 - £47,181 per annum, along with various benefits including a £4,000 welcome payment and flexible working opportunities. Candidates should possess a full driving license and DBS clearance, with experience in fostering assessments being highly desirable. Interviews will be held on 15th December 2025.

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Fostering Social Worker to join our dedicated, dynamic Kinship Assessment Team on a permanent basis.

The Kinship Assessment Team is experienced, highly supportive, friendly, and deeply passionate about the work we do. The Kinship Assessment Team collaborates closely with Social Workers, managers from other Children's Services, and Legal Services. The work is engaging, often complex and challenging, but plays a vital role in achieving placement stability and permanence for children.
