Role

As a Formulation Chemist, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and improving chemical formulations to meet customer and business needs. You will play a key role in driving innovation, enhancing product performance, and ensuring solutions are both reliable and cost-effective.

Your focus will include
  • Designing, developing, and testing new chemical formulations
  • Researching raw materials and monitoring industry trends
  • Improving the performance and efficiency of existing products
  • Conducting competitor product analysis to identify opportunities for innovation
  • Coordinating with production, regulatory, and commercial teams to support smooth product launch
  • Managing multiple projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and standards
What you bring
  • Degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (essential)
  • Strong background in formulation (academic or industrial)
  • Fresh graduates and experienced candidates will be considered
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Organisational skills to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Experience in pulp or paper formulation (advantageous but not essential)
