Job summary

A premier motorsport team in the UK is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to produce high-quality CNC programs for their Formula One race cars. The ideal candidate will have experience in using NX CAM and Vericut Simulation, alongside a solid background in mechanical production engineering. Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience using CNC 3,4, 5-axis machining centres.
• Experience in NX CAM.
• Experience using Vericut Simulation.
• Knowledge of G and M codes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out programming operations using Computer Aided Manufacture.
• Supply Production Engineered solutions in CNC programs.
• Ensure components are produced in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
• Design and supply information for any jig or fixtures necessary.

Skills

Ability to create CNC code using NX CAM

Using simulation software (Vericut)

Knowledge of design for manufacture

Production engineering experience

Education

Apprentice trained in Mechanical Production Engineering
