Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehousing and production background is required.
  • Experience with die cutting, flexographic printing, gluing and stitching processes is advantageous.
  • Must be able to adhere to health & safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Counterbalance forklift for unloading and loading lorries.
  • Ensure products meet high-quality standards.
  • Work in a small team to meet daily KPI targets.

Overview

Forklift Driver
£14.20 per hour (up to £26 per hour overtime available)
Location: Andover
Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00, then switching to 14:00 - 22:00 each week
Contract: Temporary ongoing

Main duties & responsibilities
  • Operating a Counterbalance forklift and unloading and loading lorries
  • Operating manufacturing machinery that includes manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Ensuring that the products meet high-quality standards
  • Working in a small team and striving to hit daily KPI targets
  • Adhering to health & safety in the workplace
Ideal candidate
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehousing and production background
  • Experience of die cutting, flexographic printing, gluing and stitching processes would be extremely advantageous
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to follow instructions and procedures in an accurate and timely manner
