A local law enforcement agency in Derby is seeking a part-time FAS Laboratory Technician to provide technical and administrative support within a forensic laboratory. You will work with a multi-skilled team to ensure the quality of forensic exhibits. The ideal candidate will have health and safety knowledge in laboratory settings, understand ISO 17025 standards, and communicate effectively. As our FAS Laboratory Technician, you will provide administrative and technical support to the FAS Laboratory, working within a team of multi skilled FAS Officers, who are responsible for processing and examining forensic exhibits.
You’ll be working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, supporting the quality and accreditation of the laboratory.
This is part time role 25.9 hours per week

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
