Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

In your new role as an FLT Driver, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team and undertake the operation of forklift truck driving within a health and safety conscious environment. Your duties will include loading and unloading pallet trailers, loading cardboard and plastic bales onto trailers, and sorting, moving and stacking pallets. Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is in safe working order, perform miscellaneous cleaning duties and provide support to the waste team, whilst wearing PPE and complying with health and safety legislation.

Qualifications

• Counter Balance forklift licence
• Minimum 3 months forklift operative experience (preferred)
• Good organisational skills, detail conscious, initiative and excellent time management
• Clear communicative English; may be required to take an English language assessment
• Completion of appropriate documentation and adherence to required shift pattern
• Basic Disclosure (DBS) check
• Drug and alcohol screening test
