Job description

Pyramid8 are delighted to be supporting a long-standing client with an exciting new opportunity. We are currently supporting this client with the staffing of their brand-new distribution site located in Thorne (DN8).

We are looking to speak with individuals who have previous experience in driving a Flexi-Bendi Truck.

Although the role is primarily working on an FLT, you will be required to assist in all areas of the warehouse. Everybody within the warehouse will be responsible for working together as a team, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

As this is a brand-new site, there are opportunities for progression. After 3 months (once you have passed probation) the company will pay for you to be trained on additional FLT’s if required. There are opportunities to become a team leader / supervisor, and the opportunity to be put through your HGV licence.

The hours of work are based on a weekly rotational shift pattern, 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm. As this is a new site, you must be flexible to work between the hours of 6am & 6pm initially. You will receive an hourly rate of £12, being paid time and a half for overtime, Sundays you will be paid double pay. Bank holidays are paid at time and a half, plus a day in lieu. You will receive 20 days + bank holidays. There is a canteen & breakout area, free onsite parking, and a bike shelter
