About the role

As a Business Development Manager at Flight Centre Business Travel, you will manage the entire business development cycle, from identifying prospects to pitching our services and securing new client partnerships, ultimately expanding our client portfolio.

Proactively identifying and engaging potential clients:

Seek out new business opportunities and initiate contact with companies that could benefit from our comprehensive travel solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships across a multitude of role types, nurturing these connections to reinforce FCBT as a preferred and reliable partner.

Understanding their needs and presenting FCBT's offering:

Engage with prospects to uncover their corporate travel requirements, booking behaviours, and pain points. Showcase the benefits of FCBTs offering, clearly articulating how our solution can streamline their travel programs, save time, reduce costs, and support their business growth.

Supporting new clients through onboarding:

Facilitate a smooth onboarding process to ensure new clients are well-integrated into our system and comfortable with our services. Introduce them to their dedicated travel team for direct access to support and expert advice from the outset.

What were looking for
  • 1+ year experience working in a BDM role, heavily focused on B2B Sales/Development or experience working in a Sales role within the Travel & Tourism sector
  • An individual who thrives in a sales environment, is self-motivated, driven, and has a passion for delivering sales targets and achieving KPIs
  • Experience in selling a solution across various role types and a demonstrated ability to close opportunities
  • The ability to manage external and internal stakeholders through strong communication and delivery of outcomes
