The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in HGV Service & Maintenance and a full manual driving licence. We're looking for a Fleet Technician with HGV experience to join our busy servicing team, working Monday – Friday, based at our Finham, Coventry site.
This is a great opportunity for a technician to use their mechanical knowledge to find faults, maintain service levels, and repair vehicles in Severn Trent Water Fleet of over 3,000 vehicles (cars, light and heavy commercial vehicles and mobile plant).
You'll typically work a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday (hours between 7.30am – 5.30pm). Overtime may be required but is optional and compensated.
Driving will be part of this role, so a full manual driving licence is required.
Experience in Fleet Maintenance and a recognised Apprenticeship with City & Guilds qualifications or NVQ equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Level 3 and above) is essential.
A Level 3 qualification in HGV Service & Maintenance is vital; an HGV licence would be an added bonus.
