Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

Reports To: Fleet Manager
Job Type: Full Time: Tuesday – Saturday

Job Summary:

We’re currently recruiting for a Fleet Supervisor to be based at our Bury site. As part of a busy fleet operation, your role will be to support the Fleet Manager in managing people and processes required in maintaining our vehicles and associated equipment to a very high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the effective returns process for local fleet, and ensure all vehicles are presented correctly prior to departure
  • To highlight the need for repairs of company vehicles and equipment by external contractors, to the Fleet Manager, and assist in the coordinating of those repairs.
  • Assist in monitoring/reporting staff KPI’s
  • Assist in identifying training requirements for Fleet Team.
  • Assist in in developing and maintaining of processes to enhance the Fleet Operation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fleet environment.
  • Full driving licence, preferably with
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and familiarity with service reporting software (e.g., IAuditor)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Transport Manager CPC desirable
  • Class C entitlement (HGV class 2) (but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility within work patterns.
