Your future role

We are looking for 4 proactive Fleet Operations Coordinators to oversee the operational efficiency and safety of our fleet across the UK. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction while effectively managing costs and resources.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Address day-to-day issues impacting safety in strict adherence to Alstom's Safety Case, Train Operating Company (TOC) Operational Procedures, and Railway Group Standards.
  • Coordinate a skilled team of Service Engineers to optimize network coverage and responsiveness to emergent situations, while maintaining close collaboration with TOC Control Operations staff.
  • Liaising with Maintenance Depots and Outstations to ensure all Safety Critical work is executed within Alstom’s documented procedures, maintaining our fleets in a safe and serviceable state for operation.

Customer Satisfaction and Cost Control

  • Develop clear strategic planning to deliver quality products.
  • Establish effective communication channels with customers for transparent reporting.
  • Achieve Availability and Performance Targets consistently.

People and Product Safety

  • Optimise resource efficiency and capabilities across all depots.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legal obligations and internal policies.
  • Implement standardized tools and processes from the Industrial Strategy.
  • Conduct governance quality assurance activities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and share best practices across
  • the organisation.
