You will lead on fleet policy and compliance across Royal Mail Group. This means creating clear processes, sharing updates on legislation, and working with teams to make sure everyone understands their responsibilities. You'll also manage relationships with external organisations like the DVSA and Traffic Commissioner.

What You'll Do
  • Keep Royal Mail compliant with UK transport and driver legislation.
  • Maintain and improve fleet policy documents and processes.
  • Share updates on legal changes with managers and teams.
  • Work with internal teams to make compliance simple and consistent.
  • Report on compliance performance and suggest improvements.
  • Act as the main contact for external bodies such as DVSA and Logistics UK.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and Operator's Licence requirements.
  • Experience in transport management and compliance.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Skills in data analysis and reporting (Excel).
  • Transport Manager CPC qualification.
  • Organised, clear in communication, confident working with different people.
  • Enjoy solving problems and making complex rules easy to understand.
