A leading train operating company is seeking a Fleet Commercial Manager to support their Engineering department with TSA agreements and manage contracts. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills, along with a Business Management Degree or equivalent experience. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, bonus scheme, and flexible benefits including free rail travel and a final salary pension.

How would you like to support business continuity and improvement within the Engineering Department through the provision of your Commercial expertise?
This excellent opportunity with an award-winning train operator, servicing customers from London to Coastal regions. This company have customer service at the forefront of their actions and looking for an exceptional individual to join their thriving team.
As an experienced Rolling Stock professional within the Commercial environment, you will have experience and knowledge of Train Service Agreements. With a strong commercial acumen, strong negotiating skills with a good understanding of Trains.
You will be supporting the Engineering department surrounding the TSA agreement with the Rolling Stock OEM. Managing the contract and service agreements currently in place. As well as liaising with leasing companies and Network Rail, concerning contract agreements.
You will be responsible for the creation, management and renewal of Engineering contracts, in accordance with contract governance, exploring opportunities to deliver improved value for money and to eradicate waste.
The creation of a base budget for the department each year in accordance with the ABP process and timescales.
To ensure that the requirements of the Environmental Management System are met throughout the Engineering function.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Other training will be provided as and when required. This will be dependent upon future altered or amended duties.
