Overview

Yorkshire Ambulance Services, Ancillary Services Team, are offering an opportunity for a 37.5 hours per week, Mobile Premise Cleaner, working out of our Northallerton Ambulance Station.

Full Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Station/Site Cleaning – to undertake cleaning and other associated tasks to meet high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and daily work schedules. Achieve and maintain all required standards of cleanliness across the organization. Cleaning schedules include entrances and foyers, public and staff washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurants, gym, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, landings, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas, and other associated areas.
  • Maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials and record all daily activities, including urgent spillages and deep cleaning where identified.
Working Arrangements
  • Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00. Days and times may vary based on provision requirements due to the 24/7 Emergency Service operation.
  • Allocated Bank Holiday working is required.
Requirements
  • Full Driving Licence is essential.
  • A flexible and can-do attitude towards ad-hoc changes in scheduled work and any potential alternative location support within your shift.
  • Ability to work alone, plan essential tasks to ensure completion within time constraints, and communicate effectively with senior staff.
  • A basic physical capability assessment (12–15 minutes) will be undertaken for successful candidates.
