Job description

Our client is a well-established and successful company. They are looking for an experienced Fitter / Welder to join their team.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Accuracy in all tasks and measurements and a high grade of work.
• Be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used especially the welding equipment. Must be able to adjust the welding machines as required.
• Be able to use Chop Saws, and have knowledge of health and safety regarding all saws and guillotines.
• Be able to follow and understand technical drawings.
• Aluminium welding/TIG welding would be an advantage.
• Background in welding and fabrication is required.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience
• 4 day working week Monday to Thursday 06.30 - 17.00

Responsibilities:

• Fitting, welding and fabrication of vehicles (chassis, cages, trailers, storage)
• Additional related tasks for the manufacturing plant (mild steel).
• General upkeep of the workshop area and premises.
• Ad hoc duties as and when required.
