First Aid Training Instructor - Dyce, Scotland

Division: Training Services Reports to: Survival Team Lead Direct Reports: None

About the Role

We're looking for a confident, supportive and people‑focused First Aid Instructor to join our Training Services team in Dyce. You'll deliver a range of approved first aid and emergency response courses, helping learners build the skills they need to work safely and effectively.

If you enjoy teaching others, staying calm under pressure, and sharing your real‑world experience, this could be an excellent fit. We welcome applicants from training, healthcare, emergency response, aviation, marine, or any role where safety briefings and people engagement are key.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver first aid and related courses in line with accrediting‑body standards
  • Support learners throughout their training, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience
  • Take part in standardisation sessions and ongoing professional development
  • Support trainee and existing instructors as they develop their skills
  • Contribute to new course development and improvements to existing programmes
  • Promote a strong safety culture and follow all relevant HSE procedures
  • Work in line with all quality and operational processes
  • Take ownership of departmental policies and help maintain high standards

  • Experience in roles such as cabin crew, marine steward, or other safety‑critical positions
