A well-established fire systems business is seeking a Fire & Security Systems Designer to join their collaborative team. This full-time role is based in Burgess Hill or London and involves designing fire alarm, security, and related life safety systems to British Standards. Qualifications

• Previous experience in fire alarm and/or security system design (Level 3) highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design software tools is desirable.
• FIA or equivalent technical qualifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design fire alarm, security, and related life safety systems to British Standards.
• Produce design documentation, device layout drawings, cable schedules, and BOQs.
• Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure design compliance.
• Conduct site surveys and attend design/progress meetings.
• Support tender and project delivery teams with technical input.
