A public sector client in Eastleigh is seeking a Fire Safety Contracts Manager to oversee fire safety and building safety major works across various properties. The role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety legislation, and leading contractor performance. A client within the Public Sector based in the East of England is currently recruiting for an Fire Safety Contracts Manager to join their Commercial Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, permanent position, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority or housing provider within a fire safety and building safety major works environment.
Key purpose of the role is to lead and manage fire safety and building safety major works across high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise properties, ensuring full compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Building Safety Act 2022. The postholder will act as the client-side competent person, overseeing contracts, consultants, financial forecasting, procurement, and overall project delivery.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering up to £43,200 per annum + various other benefits.
