A healthcare organization in Swindon is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Advisor to join their Health, Safety, Fire and Security team. This essential role involves conducting fire risk assessments, providing comprehensive fire safety advice, and delivering training to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fire safety and strong communication skills. This position offers part-time hours, contributing to the safety of patients and staff in a vital healthcare setting.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Health, Safety, Fire and Security team here at Great Western Hospital as a Fire Safety Advisor. This is a significantly important role to support the safety of all patients, staff and others who use our buildings.
The post–holder will provide fire risk assessments across a range of hospital buildings and healthcare premises. They will provide comprehensive fire safety advice and training to the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust, to ensure the organisation achieves compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Department of Health’s suite of Technical Memoranda ‘Firecode’, and all other fire safety guidance, standards, and regulations. This post will report to the Associate Director of Health, Safety, Fire and Security.
