Job description
Key responsibilities

Lead the delivery of fire door remedials, installations and associated works across multiple live sites on a social housing contract.

Plan, programme and co‑ordinate site activities to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Act as the primary on‑site point of contact for clients, residents, subcontractors and internal teams.

Ensure compliance with fire safety and building regulations, including FIRAS / FPA / BM TRADA standards where applicable.

Manage subcontractors, materials, access arrangements and site documentation.

Produce accurate progress updates, site records, health & safety compliance (RAMS), and quality assurance reporting.

Maintain high levels of communication with the client and internal stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience managing fire door projects within the social housing sector

Strong ability to work independently and self‑manage multiple site responsibilities

Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and residents

Sound understanding of relevant compliance standards and best practice for fire doors

Valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites across the region

Desirable

FIRAS / Third‑party accreditation experience (or strong knowledge of standards)

Construction / Compliance related qualification or project management experience

CSCS card

SMSTS or equivalent safety certification
