Qualifications

• HNC (or higher) in a construction or building-related discipline OR proven experience in a similar major works role.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety and building safety legislation, including FSO 2005 and BSA 2022.
• Experience managing contractors and major works projects within construction or social housing.

Responsibilities

• Managing fire safety and building safety major works projects from inception to completion.
• Conducting project risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Overseeing contractor and consultant performance for compliance.
• Preparing and maintaining financial forecasts and project expenditure reports.
• Ensuring projects meet agreed KPIs, timescales, and quality standards.
• Carrying out site inspections for quality and compliance.
