Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected fire & security solutions provider, who is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their team, covering Manchester and the surrounding areas.

This role would suit a multi-disciplined engineer with a strong bias towards fire alarm systems, and proven experience with CCTV and intruder alarms.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire detection systems (conventional and addressable).
• Installation and repair of security systems, including CCTV and intruder alarms.
• Carrying out routine checks and responding to emergency call-outs.
• Ensuring systems are installed and maintained in line with industry regulations and company standards.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in the fire & security industry.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with fire alarm systems.
• Competent with CCTV (IP & analogue) and intruder alarm systems.
• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA units, manufacturer training) are advantageous.
• Professional, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
