Job summary

A recognized engineering firm based in the Tees Valley area is seeking Alarm Electrical Technicians & Electricians for a project involving the installation of electrical cable trays and systems. Ideal candidates will have C&G or NVQ Level 3 certifications along with IPAF or MEWP cards. The role requires working hours typically from 07:00 to 17:30, with opportunities for longer-term work based on performance. Qualifications

Job description

Alarm Electrical Technicians & Electricians

Working on the installation of electrical cable tray, ladder racking and electrical cables.

Connecting electrical cables to panels and fire alarm systems from electrical engineering drawings. Checking work & testing work.

Working from IPAF or MEWP Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker.

Certifications and Cards Required

• C&G or NVQ Level 3 (17th Edition) ideally Level 3 (18th Edition) & 2391 Electrical Engineering
• Must have current CSCS or ECS Card, IPAF or MEWP Card, Harness Training & Working at Heights Certificates

Working Hours

Normally 07:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday & Saturday if required.

Contract Duration

4 to 8+ weeks plus subsequent phases on this site and other local sites such as Newport or Cardiff with work running from 8 to 12+ weeks, subject to attendance, performance and workload. The company aims to retain reliable workers on ongoing projects within 45 to 75 minutes travel time.
