Clymac’s Fire Alarm Engineers

Our engineers primarily maintain and protect life protection systems (Fire Alarms, Portable Extinguishers and Emergency Lighting) whilst occasionally attending sites with security systems, in line with current standards and customer requirements. The successful engineer will contribute to a united team that strives to deliver world‑class customer service.

  • Maintain Fire Systems, Emergency Lighting and Portable Extinguishers in your assigned area.
  • Carry out minor remedial works that arise during the maintenance visit.
  • Plan routine maintenance calls within your area.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers when planning site visits.
  • Maintain your stock levels with support from your team leader.
  • Attend training sessions to further your development.
  • Attend weekly engineering team meetings.
  • Identify any personal training and development needs to help you provide the best possible customer service.
  • All of our engineers work our standard hours of 08:30 - 17:00.

  • Are flexible and able to work on‑call or overtime as required (callout rota is currently 1 week in 10).
